Have you ever had an “aha” moment with that perfect wine and food pairing? Do you feel intimidated when paring your dinner with wines? Are you interested in learning more about pairing wines with food?
During this experience, we will lead you through an interactive and educational culinary program where we present the basic guidelines on how to pair wines with food. You will learn and experience the textural differences, flavor interactions, fat and acid, as well as tannin and protein combination, and more. During the tasting, we showcase both Schramsberg sparkling and Davies Vineyards red wines with delectable seasonal food pairings. By the end of your time with us, you will better understand how each combination is designed to highlight the various principles of wine and food pairing. Our pairing menu will change seasonally.
Please note that since this is an educational pairing menu, substitutions are not allowed. We will try to accommodate dietary restriction wherever possible. We will need at least one week advance notice.
Please allow approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours for the tasting.
A 72 hour advance reservation is required for this experience. This is a group tasting and is limited to a maximum of 8 people.
$160 per person (Wine Club members pay $110.00 per person*)
*Wine club members are offered two reservations at this price, while in attendance. Additional guests will be charged full price.
