"Our family has been making wine for 3 generations. Our passion for wine stems from the elements of hand-crafting high quality wines, the love of family and friends and bringing people together through wine, and sharing our experiences with these people. Being a part of the Kongsgaard family here in Napa, mentor and uncle John Kongsgaard dissuaded us from thinking too much about the numbers and the analysis and more about the sensory aspects of the wine in all of its phases. This makes for a more alive wine, a great experience for the tasters, and a real emphasis on the ART of winemaking.
Since this early education, we've traveled the world making wine in other countries, learning new techniques and applying them here in house. Traveling through other wine regions of the world has brought us a new appreciation of winemaking in these other countries and our quest for the finest wines in the world. While discovering our own style of winemaking we also have discovered others who share the same passions and we direct import those wines to California. "
