    Robert Mondavi Winery is a huge winery very popular with tourists located on the busy "wine strip" on the west side of Highway 29 in Oakville just north of the Oakville Cross Road. Hang out near the entrance on a busy summer weekend and just listen to the languages being spoken. Want to take bets to see if Mondavi is the most photographed winery in the Napa Valley?! The parking lots are set right among the rows of grapes. An excellent garden is situated on the north side of the main building. Like the other large touristy type wineries in Napa Valley, this winery has a very large gift shop. No appointment is necessary for general wine tasting.More from the Napa Wine Project
