Wine Tasting in the Temecula Valley Region
Just a short drive from Los Angeles or San Diego, the Temecula Valley is one of the newest wine regions in Southern California. Temecula is now home to more than 30 wineries set amongst rolling hills and soaring mountain peaks. A surprisingly diverse array of grape varieties thrive here: Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and many others.
The wine-tasting experience in Temecula Valley is still personal and intimate, affording guests the opportunity to speak with the owner or winemaker. Many are family-owned artisan wineries that are quietly receiving national acclaim for their award-winning wines. Temecula Valley is comprised of 35,000 acres of rolling hills and vineyards.
