Standard Tasting
A standard wine tasting event is one that is offered to the public on a regular basis, with or without reservations. Typically, a winery will offer 3-5 options called a "flight" over which a Visitor will interact with a tasting room representative. Depending on the winery (and the day) it might be a part-time tasting room manager/wine lover, the wine maker or the owner herself. Fees range, depending on the region, from $5 - $15 per person.
Visitors who are exploring a wine region for an entire day or longer may want to take advantage of several standard tasting events.
